DCM

DCM (Danish Classical Music) is a sub-edition from Edition·S, a music publisher founded in Copenhagen in 1871 by a group of composers including Peter Heise.

In early 2025, I was asked by DCM’s Project Manager and Publisher Maria Claustad to proofread the opera Kong Hroars Skjalde by Tekla Griebel Wandall, a Danish composer who worked on it for 33 years.

The work was discovered in the archives of the Royal Danish Theatre by musicologist Thomas Husted Kirkegaard. This is its first publication.
